This year’s BHMO surpasses goal!

Thank you to everyone associated with this event’s success!

Players, staff, volunteers, spectators, and supporters alike should feel a part of something great! Raising money to improve peoples lives!

Once again the big winner at this Super Tour disc golf event was the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Ohio. Through all our efforts we were able to raise $6000!!! for our charity.

Congratulations to Paul McBeth and Shawna Buzzingham, our open division Winners, as well as all other divisional winners. Thank you to everyone who helped in anyway to get the course ready for tournament play! I believe Hoover is a great test of these great players skills.  We will continue to improve and tweak things to keep Hoover the challenge it is even to the best in the world.

We have been asked to be part of the PDGA National Tour in 2016, and it will be our 20th Annual BHMO, so we hope to do some great things and we invite you to be part of it.

Maybe we set our fundraising  goal  at $10,000 next year!

Thank you again for all of the continued support in “Keeping Brent’s Memory Alive”

This is some of the best fun had all year! Come join the fun and support the charities.

Andy 24

The Columbus Flyers are pleased to be once again involved with such a great event for some great local charities.

The Andy24 Event is one 24-hour long game of ultimate frisbee and many overlapping rounds of disc golf for 24-hours.

Date and Time: July 31-August 1, 2015, 7pm to 7pm

Location: Fred Beekman Park, Columbus, Ohio

Andy24 was established to honor the memory of Andrew J. Starinchak, a fellow ultimate frisbee player, and J. Michael Dunn, a champion of Columbus disc golf.  The event is attended by hundreds of men and women each year to participate in the sporting events and to raise money for local charities in memory of these two great men.  All proceeds from this event benefit local charities, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus and theCompassionate Friends Organization.
