Aug. 8-14th the US Open will be taking place at the Scioto Country Club. With this, Scioto Country Club has asked that we partner with them under a parking agreement for their volunteers and staffing for the event. This will require closure of some of the parking areas throughout Griggs and the Disc Golf Course is one of those temp. closures. The Golf Course will NOT be closed for play, just the parking area. As an alternative, however, parking will be limited to the upper location, near the CPD building and Griggs Maintenance Office.
Work kicks off a 9am, but rest assured you can show up anytime and help out. Mulch, weed eating, trash pick up…you name it! Here’s a chance to help out at a course and make a difference/give something back to a place that has never asked you for anything but given you year-round fun. Be the change instead of blaming others!!!
Come hang out for a few hours with your disc golfing family for a fun work day to prep the Mill Valley South course for the Mill Valley Shootout, our Second Point Series event this year! Keith has been working very hard at putting this together. We will be removing trash, picking up fallen limbs and some minor trimming.
Things to bring on the day of the clean-up:
Appropriate Outdoor Footwear
Pants and Long Sleeves (Recommended)
Water and Personal Snack (If Desired)
The N/T Professional event is currently accepting registrations from Men:1020+ and Women:925+ rated players, per PDGA’s Tiered registration policy for all National tour events.
Further details are on registration page.

What a great day we had. The weather was perfect. Ninety-One players, what a way to start off the New Year!
Thank you to all of you who attended, volunteered or donated at this event.
Through all our efforts this year, we were able to raise $1200 for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
That money will provide over 5000 meals to needy families in central Ohio. We also collected 75 lbs. of food.
Congratulations to all division winners.
